Beautiful, well-kept campsite by the river. Host was very helpful, she accommodated us to another campsite # by the river since we got there early enough. She checked in on us and my dogs, very nice lady.

Camp host, Debra, was so nice and welcoming. Campsite is beautiful and the fishing was prime. Caught several trout fly fishing (all rainbows). Unfortunately got bit by something the first night and got very sick so it cut our trip short.

Great location, the riverside sites are amazing!! It’s next to a busy road so you will hear cars a bit but this is obvious from the location/map.

Site 11 is close to the toilet, and the odor and flies are noticeable. Not much screening vegetation between sites at this part of the campground. Road noise was also nearby. Host was very kind and gave me driving directions. Bird life in the campground was exceptional. Bear box was too hard for me to open- I am 69 and my hands didn't have the strength to pull the lever; seems like a bad design.

I and my family loved the outdoor experience, but river not as full due to droughts and fires over the years. I had to clean FIRE PIT MYSELF, totally full with dirt, ash, and wire. Ranger station closed. Why have campground open with no Rangers available. I saw no Sheriff patrol at all for my stay. No animals, I guess to fires and droughts over years. Just squirels and birds. Heard frogs at night. Stars aplenty . Seqoula forest roads upper Kern River closed. No access to Big Tree Lanes.
