If you plan to go in February, make sure to pack warm clothes since it gets cold at night. The site during this time was quite empty which we liked. Very nice that the site is near the river too.

Camp host was excellent. Sad no charcoal or wood fires, but that's the drought's fault. Campsites and Yurts great. Too bad the water source at yurt 31 was out, but things happen. Site was clean on arrival despite coming the day after a holiday. We cleaned up after ourselves too. Other campers were appropriate. We white water rafted during the day, it was great. Close to great hikes and 100 giants(redwoods)

The campground has always been great. The host, Mark is awesome and has been there for years. The only gripe I have is that the last few years, the fishing has sucked! We pay license fees to fish and the Govt is supposed to stock it, well. They stocked it but from what I heard around the “grapevine” is it isn’t very much fish. I hope they do a better job or I will be going to the other side of the sierras to fish.

Perfect spot by the river, but the sites were real close to eachother, it was hard keeping a distance when people would pass by your site. Restrooms were tolerable, but they were not as clean.

Everything was great except for the host telling my in laws to lower the music before it was even quiet time. Im only saying this because it was during the week and there was only three other spots reserved besides us and they were also playing their music pretty loud. Other than that, my husband and I love this camping ground!
