Loved staying at this campsite! The creek is around the corner (depending on what campsite you reserve), the store is down the street, and there are restrooms available! This was our second time reserving a spot here at Upper Stoney creek.

Great campground, attentive campground host, clean facilities. We camped in June and the creek nearby was rushing, amazing to start each day with a cold plunge.

The camp host kept the bathrooms clean and the campsite safe. Fellow campers were pleasant and everyone had a good time plus we even caught some trout!

This is a really great campsite! The trees around are beautiful, sites are large, the camp host is very attentive and pleasant. We had a wonderful stay! It is convenient to have the general store nearby. As somebody that tent camps, it was nice that most people at this site were also in tents or small vans. Our favorite campsite we've been to so far!

At Upper Stoney Creek the sites were large, quiet and clean. In addition, the campers there were friendly and helpful. I must also mention that Upper Stoney Creek has the hardest working and friendliest, camp host I have ever seen. Her commitment to excellence provided my family and I with a most enjoyable 5 days of camping.

This was a pleasant campground with a friendly host and we enjoyed our one night there.

The sites we had 15-17 provided ample space for large a family. The vault toilet door was hard to close, but that's our only complaint.

Overall a great experience! The creek was just a trickle with the drought, but not a surprise there. The camp host was very nice and helpful with recommendations for things to do in the park. We look forward to going back again!

We had sites 7 and 8 and were pleased with the space and cleanliness of the campground, sites and toilets ( as good as it gets). We stayed midweek, so basically had an average amount of campers in and out of sites around us.
Our campground host- Manuel/Manny was an OUTSTANDING host! He was consistently observed maintaining the campground sites and toilets. Excess trash/recycle was not an overflow problem. We traditionally stay at Lodgepole, however, we will return to this particular campground.

absolute WORST experience ever. We camp in Sequoia / Kings Canyon all of the time and have always had excellent experiences. We got to our reserved site and there was someone elses name on it for 3 nights over the same dates we had booked. The camp host was no where to be found with a sign up back after 5pm (we could not wait that long to set up camp and it was unacceptable to expect that). We went to lower Stony Creek for help the camp host had a sign that they were gone until late and see the one acrossed the street where we came from. We drove around the sites for a few hours and could get no help. We eventually gave up and went home because we did not want to ruin someone elses vacation that had possibly booked for more days. There was no back up, no one we could call (we tried Stony Creek store as well) there was absolutely NOTHING we could do but ruin our trip. I am very discouraged by this and I will absolutely NOT be camping at Stony Creek again. We normally stay in Hume, Grant Grove, Azela and the others near there this was our first attempted stay at Stony.
