Site 15 and 14 share a driveway. Its not well marked but something to keep in mind when reserving 15 or 14. The campsites in this loop are super close to each other as well. If you want privacy look for 16 or 13. Host was great and the area is remote and quiet. There was very few people in camp most likely due to the burn. Only issue was a control burn going on in and around the campground. 3 days of smoke and trees falling. Be prepared to drive for at least 2 hours to get into either of the parks. 245 was closed when we were there and it made the drive even longer. Overall, good campground with clean facilities. Just wish the burn was done earlier in the spring.

Campground is well maintained and really beautiful. There is a really pretty meadow and big trees all around. Water pump/bathrooms clean and close. We would stay here again but we usually prefer more secluded sites. I docked a star because of the trash situation. They were regular bins, and were a mess this includes campers putting large boxes in them so there was no room for trash, then people leaving their trash outside is the bin. Obviously animals got to it, making more of a mess. Anyway we had some great neighbors and a beautiful little spot by the meadow.

This campsite is beautiful and peaceful. However, it takes an hour's drive up a windy road to get there and it is literally on a dead end road connected to nothing. We initially thought we could thru hike to some nearby trails but got lost very quickly. Also, the entire site was visited by a VERY large black bear that roamed around all night going through trash cans. This place desperately needs bear boxes and better bear-proof trash cans. Old Bubba the bear was very well fed and very accustomed to humans.

They site was nice though. Very peaceful and we'll kept with a nearby stream in a beautiful forrest. Main complaint was that is was so far from everything else, but that's more on me for not doing my research!
