Our recent stay was unfortunately quite disappointing. The restroom facilities were in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. Additionally, the whole campground was exposed to absurdly strong winds, which made setting up our tent a nearly unmanageable challenge. Despite having an advance online reservation and the expectation of a site assignment upon arrival, there was no check-in staff available, nor was our reservation visible anywhere. Overall, it was a very poor experience.

Great place for camping! The location, campsite, and amenities were all goodno complaints there. Just make sure to check the wind conditions before you go. We went tent camping over Memorial Day, and the wind was very strong the whole time. Our tents couldnt handle it.

We paid extra to camp there on a holiday weekend, and then the camp host never showed his face. Everyone was confused about the check in process, and he wouldnt come out of his RV no matter how many times people knocked. The bathrooms were fine, but the toilets flush slowly if the shower is going. The people there trashed the bathrooms and campsites and didnt respect quiet hours, and the camp host didnt do anything. There were no bear boxes or covered trash cans, so at least the other campers loud music kept the coyotes away. The campsite itself is fine and has a nice view of the lake, but get there early if you want to grab a spot with any shade.

Loud party with music until 3-4 am. No quiet hours enforced. $20 dump fee charge d in addition to our campsite rental. Camp host would only take cash. Bathrooms and showers in a poor state of repair.

The campground is not really beautiful. It seems not well cared. The restrooms are so dirty, they are not useable. We were glad to have a toilet in our rv.

Paradise Cove a good option for someone wanting easy open access to lake fishing, cleaning, and leaving waste behind. As a campsite, it needs significant physical and operational upgrades. The bathrooms are in terrible shape with toilets barely capable of flushing, dead insects everywhere, and not sure if the fish cleaning station has ever been cleaned. The garbage dumpster is way oversized and not dumped regularly of the abundant fish guts and residential waste breading flies. A county health or building department would likely cite numerous violations. Not sure why there are robust cattle guards at the entrance either? The heavy winds could be mitigated with an active tree planting program.For context I have been working remotely from a travel trailer for the past 12 months having stayed in over 50 sites. There are absolutely wonderful federal and state campsites with infrastructure from the WPA in better shape and maintained.

I give an Excellent because its not really excellent but because of spot 29 is one of the best site. Weather nice in the morning & worst at afternoonBecause of very windy which is consistent during our 4 day stay.

Campground in the middle of Nothing. No Staff.No other Campers. We paid more than 40 Dollars for one Night. We did not stay there. Waisted money.

Great campsite that was very well maintained by the hosts.
The only downside was the wind, which was strong enough to destroy an EZ-Up and a tent that we brought.

This campground is in terrible shape (July 2022). Only a small number of sites have any amount of shade, the entire place is overrun with weeds and there is garbage blowing everywhere around the campground.
When we arrived the hosts gave us the normal run down about quiet time but then pointed out a group that “got pretty rowdy the night before” and told us “there wasn’t much they could do about it.”
Well, they weren’t wrong. There were generators running until nearly 1:00am, loud music even later than that and even bright flood lights on well into the night.
Don’t waste you time with this campground, there are plenty of others nearby that have got to better options.

The campsite is super windy and does not much trees. The wind can be quite strong and load at night.
If you are to visit the sequoia national park, it’s another 2-3hrs drive on a winding road.
It’s nice that shower is available for the site.

We went to stay there and were absolutely disgusted. It did not look like the pictures at all. It looked like an abandoned parking lot. It was dirty, trash all over. The bathroom was horrifying. Needless to say, we did not stay. Very unhappy.

The campground and campsite were both poorly maintained. In particular, the campsite was all rocks and hard packed dirt - I bent 2 metal tent stakes trying to bang them in, and it took me close to an hour to pitch the tent that normally takes about 10 minutes. We were told that we would be assigned a site when we checked in but there was no host present or any information posted, so I kept driving around the whole campground looking for a site with my name on it. Finally asked another camper who said that he just picked a site on his own since there was no one around to instruct him either. This would all be ok for $10 or $15, but for the rate that was charged I felt like I had really been ripped off.

We got to the campground right at dark. We would have been the only ones there had we stayed. The wind was ripping and the camp host said it usually picks up more around 10PM. We decided to not risk having our gear ripped up by the wind. Looks like a decent facility, but if wind is a constant factor (sounds like it is) I would suggest putting in windbreaks like they have at Hell’s Canyon Pittsburg Landing campground.

The campground really has potential, but the facilities were not maintained. We only stayed for one night, but there was not another person in the campground besides the host, who I never saw. The bathrooms had clearly not been used in quite a while as there were huge black widow spiders that had made webs on EVERY SINGLE TOILET and by the doors.

The campground host was friendly and appeared to monitor the campground closely. The campground was clean and maintained.
