While we thoroughly enjoyed the perfect weather (with a little smoke) and crystal clear water, we were especially impressed by the cleanliness and excellent maintenance of the restrooms and campsites at Stanley Lake campground. The camp host was helpful and courteous , which contributed to an overall positive experience.

We love stanley lake and camp host Denni is by far the best camp host ever! Discovered this year that the lake has leeches, found one on my daughter's leg and a huge one on bottom of our paddle board but still love the lake and the scenery.

GREAT trip. Stayed in site 12 with epic view of the lake and McGown peak and just steps from our own private beach area on the lake - WAY more intimate than the 4th of July crown scene across the lake at the (public) day use area. Denny, the camp hostess, was second to none as far as camp hosts go. She was chock full of great information and really friendly. I have not been to the campground since the dock and bike (walking) path renovations and I'll have to say they are great additions. We also hiked to Lady Face Falls, a bit of a grind at the end but well worth it! If you've never been to this campground, please don't go and please don't make a reservation - it'll give me a better chance of getting a reservation next year. Thanks...
