We arrived when sites were available but we had not reserved one. No one would talk to us. Not sure why the camp host cannot talk to you when you arrive. Signs said reservations required but no cell coverage from at and t or Verizon so Im not really sure how you are supposed to do that. Not sure why, when we did finally drive around to find coverage and reserve a spot, the host couldnt put our name on the site. Not an easy or inviting process.

Nice campground with large sites. Close to the Caldera and Bandolier, both worth visiting. Also nice hikes from campground and an almost hot spring.

First camped here in the early 70s when it was very primitive. Now found the campground to have large, well spaced camping sites and was very clean. Falls still a beautiful sight.

We really enjoyed our 3-day stay at Jemez Falls, our first time there! Sites are well-spaced, most with plenty of shade. It was easy to find a site with enough room for a 34' RV and water was close by. Looking forward to going back! We were in Loop 1, Site 5.
