I have stayed at this campground twice and enjoy its location and relative quiet. There are trash containers, clean pit toilets, and drinking water provided. The nights i was there were the nights off for the camp host, so i did not see them. We took a trail out to the edge of a canyon and i believe this trail eventually connects with the one that leads to Jemez Falls. On our second night there was a hail storm around 530pm (in June) , so be aware that during summer months the weather will usually lead to thunderstorms almost daily and you could be in for some lightning and light flooding. Wasn't too cold and there are plenty of trees to provide shade during the warm day (anything over 75 at 8,000 ft feels pretty warm.)

No campground person there so quiet hours were not enforced. We have camped before and had a good time. I would have preferred that our camping neighbors would of been curtious of other campers.

Very quiet beautiful campground walking distance to beautiful waterfalls. Bring extra tp because sometimes bathrooms run out.

The campground is beautiful and spaced out. However the staff dont even know their own rules. Lady on the day shift said more than two vehicles was fine as long as we dont park in the main road. Friends drove all the way from another state just for the night staff to tell us they cant stay there. Had to park on the side of interstate four for them to stay the night with us. Came back from the trip to verify online if two vehicles is the limit on the site and nope doesnt state no more than two vehicles. Terrible grounds keepers that are rude. Changes need to be made with the staff

Nice camp ground. Stayed in Loop 2. Site 28 has a trail head right next to it, so people will essentially walk through the site for the trail head. Cell phone reception was decent to good.
