Really enjoyed the experience . The amenities were well maintained and the local wildlife was great to be around. Most of all the campground host, Sharon, is wonderful kind and friendly. She checked in on us to make sure everything was ok.

This is a wonderful and clean little campground, a hidden gem. It's quiet along a stream, only 12 sites plus a group area, in a beautiful forest. The hosts are wonderful also. There is close access to hiking to San Gregorio reservoir/lake and access into the San Pedro Parks Wilderness for those more adventurous. It's my new favorite camping area in the Jemez.

Gorgeous campground! Joe is a phenomenal host. He works so hard to keep the campgrounds nice, clean, and safe. He even told my girls the story of Smokey Bear and gave them a few goodies. The creek running through the grounds is lovely and soothing. We stayed at site 007 in a tent and we all had a perfect time. I love that it is a small campground, super close to Rio Rancho and ABQ (about an hour and 20 min drive for us). Seriously, how have we never stayed here before?? We will definitely be back!

it would of been a 5 star except for the no burn rule.
