Really nice quiet campground! I was very happy with site 7, the rocks on the site are perfect to climb and sit on, the little one loved it! We walked around the campsite and theres plenty of off road paths to explore down. My only complaint, which is nothing to do with the camp, is the mosquitoes. i thought other reviewers were dramatic, and thought its nature, how can you complain about bugs i was wrong. brought average bug spray and didnt make a lick of difference. bring deep woods spray and an extra can or two.

Nice campsite. #7 is great with a shady spot for the tent and just a nice layout overall. Campground overall was great.

Campsite was clean, close enough to bathrooms, and had beautiful views all around it. The road to get there is a paved, one lane road, but smooth and well maintained. Flat area for a tent, big enough campsite to spread out a bit. Boulders were fun to climb and explore. First weekend in November and it got seriously cold - 34 degrees in the morning. Windy at night, so be prepared. No other campers staying around us, but if it were during peak season, site 5 & 6 park right next to 7 car space and is VERY close to site 7, so people walking right by your campsite would be a regular thing. Overall, beautiful, quiet, and close enough to town to enjoy the shops before heading to the woods.

I liked this place, I'm a car camper and so it seemed this place is aimed more for tent campers. You park in your area, and walk to your site. They had clean and well maintained bathrooms, but trash bins where all over flowing with only 3 campers there. Beautiful area, no service at all with at&t, ear wigs fall down from the trees a lot in mornings, beware of that lol There are precious deer and wood peckers, very beautiful place

People were in our spot because they didn’t realize it was reserved. Lots of mosquitoes in June. Will try again another season.

There was no water on-site due to pending repairs, but we were notified before we arrived and came prepared. There was a campfire restriction placed just prior to us arriving, which we were not aware of until arrival, which was a bummer but we made the best of it. Overall, it is very shaded and quiet with granite boulders for the kids to climb on - nice campground with clean pit toilets.

Campground over all is nice. My particular camp spot was SO INFESTED WITH FLIES that I had to get a can of fly killer in town. It didn't really help. They infested the rocks right next to where the tents go.

The campground was very nice. the campsites were spread out well so noise from neighbors was minimal. Everyone was polite and respectful while we were there. This was our first experience at a campground that had vault toilets. We went at the end of the season so they were pretty awful by the time we were there. Lots of flies in the bathroom and down in the vaults that would fly up out of the toilets. Make sure you bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Maybe bug repellent. We actually went into town and bought an air freshener to make it more bearable. My wife and I will probably bring a chemical toilet if we stay again where there are vaults.
