We were at site 19. It was a nice place with some shade, close to bathrooms, and decent parking spot. When we arrived the camp host was off duty , well according to his sign. It was our first time there and I just wanted to ask for some sort of map or guidance (like they offer at Big Bear) and his initial response was “I’m off duty “ when I was approaching him. Then, I guess he felt bad because he was rude and offered to give me directions. The camp site next to is #20 was up all hours of the night so I m not sure if quiet hours are enforced. It didn’t help that the camp host joined them . If it wasn’t for the fact that my kids love camping -I would have left after that first night. We did see ground moles , deers, blue jays and some lizards. Other than that it was an ok experience for my kids and I.

One of the cleanest camp sights I have been to. The camp host was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. The only downside was it was a really hot weekend and no showers to cool down in. I knew this heading in, so not the camps fault.

Sean, the camp host, was polite and helpful. The restrooms were cleaned and stocked frequently. Everyone more or less was quiet by 10:30pm on Saturday night.

My first camp trip was to North Shore in mid-2018. I didn't have any issues with it then because I didn't have anything to compare it with. Since then I have camped 10 or so times. So I came back this year (2020) and I was kinda shocked at how bad it was. Specifically, the roads in the campground are in need of major repair, most of the sites have no shade and most don't have level spots for tents. The number signs for each campground are faded to the point you can't read some of them. The trail in the campground is the only saving grace. Also, if you like completely hands-off hosts, then this is the place for you. One other saving grace was the bathrooms were half way decent (flush).
