Largest quietest spot at the campgrounds. Very close to the bathroom and decent amounts of shade. The camp host was kind and friendly. Informed us that it was bear country and rattlesnake territory so we needed to keep a close eye on our dog. He had a great time as well and plenty of room to wander on our tethering leash within view. The hiking trail connected to the campground is a down hill for a majority of the way! Make sure to pace yourself and take a ton of water and snacks if it's hot.
Right near the shopping district and grocery stores so you can go adventuring in town of that's what you're into. Definitely will return with my new to camping friends. It's a great place to start!

My family and I loved this place. We had space 21 which couldn’t be more perfect. There’s only campers to one side of you. The restrooms were close. Only downfall is there is no shower so we just brought a little portable one we hung on the tree. Bathrooms were pretty clean there was one group in particular that left it destroyed sadly at times. We seen tons of wildlife from deer to squirrels and even toads at night. The first night there were flash floods with lightning and crazy thunder but it was an awesome experience. Our tent held up and everything stayed dry so that was nice. It was pretty quiet at night and all we heard were crickets which I thought was odd cause we always hear the critters at night at all the other campgrounds we have stayed but this was very pleasant. You would think with it being next to a hospital and close to the lake it would be very loud and noisy but it wasn’t at all. There’s even a little family market about a mile away if you need to get more ice or other things of that nature. We will definitely be returning to this campground. Lastly, you can’t beat the price and the camp host is a very nice gentleman they even have firewood for sale if you need some.

We had site 21 and it was perfect. We had 3 tents on site and had more than enough space. This campground was clean, quiet, and the host was super friendly and knowledgeable! We went to lake Gregory and had a great time. Definitely want to come back here.

We planned staying two nights . We had neighbors like family types with kids .
Second night we could not stay and waisted our money paid because new neighbor arrived listened to load radio and music , extremely load . We asked them twice to turn it down , but they did not care at all . We ended up leaving at 6:00 PM , because we ere extremely mad . I wish you could us our money for second night please ?
