We love Little Acorn Woman Lake-Campsite 9 is the best for privacy, water access and dramatic view which is breathtaking . The water is perfect for swimming right in front of the site at the bottom of a steep slippery slope. The site itself is in dilapidated condition; the picnic table seats pop off, which helped us create a bench down at the lakefront under the trees. This campsite has a small tent area and no shade until late evening in the summer. It would be fantastic for cooler days when you want sun on your campsite all day, and a bit intense in July. Overall we will always want to book this site, but shh, don't tell too many people!

Love the site. Disappointed in the increasing lack of hospitality at the site. Having the water pump out of use for the season means they’re now hocking large plastic jugs of water. Add to that the $25/trip ferrying, and not delivering firewood if you pay for it at the camp host, it’s no longer an affordable family trip.

Gorgeous location, sad state of current affairs. We ended up with human excrement at our site...which my dog dug up. Stop being gross people. Pack it in, pack it out...before we all lose access to this gem.
