Great park and traffic was well managed even on a weekend

Clean, quiet, family friendly campground. The rangers were easy to find and friendly. Bathrooms are close to almost all sites and clean/well maintained. Unbeatable access to some of the most popular attractions in RMNP.

Love being on Bear Lake Road. Totally enjoyed our hike from Bear Lake Trailhead to Haiyaha Lake. Beautiful! The campground was better than I remembered but sites are pretty close together. Bring cash for firewood and ice;)

Loved the park and the campground! Only complaint is around the awful ants all over our campsite--and the guy snoring in the campsite next to us, but I don't think the ranger can do anything there;)! Beautiful campground with ice and firewood.

Me, my boyfriend, and our young GR puppy tent-camped at Glacier Basin in Aug 2019. This was our first time camping at Rocky Mountain National Park, which was beautiful. The campground was well kept and the bathrooms were clean for the most part. The sites were close together so we did not have any privacy but it was still nice. One thing that I will say was a little odd, much of the loop was populated by a large group of approximately 100 people. They looked as though they were staying for a while and seemed to have maxed out the person-to-campsite ratio. Tons of their small children were constantly on bikes without much supervision. Not that they were doing anything wrong necessarily, but nonetheless it did make my boyfriend and I a little uncomfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and are looking forward to trying out some of the other campgrounds in Rocky Mountain National Park.P.S. If you bring your dog, watch out for mushrooms. Our puppy sucked up a huge one when we werent looking and got sick!
