Awesome campground! Reservation allows access to Bear Lake Road. It's also located near the Park & Ride and it's easy to catch a shuttle up to Bear Lake. Bathrooms were very clean. No general store nearby but it's not a long drive to Estes Park for grocery and restaurants

We stayed at lacier Basin Campsite for three nights. We experienced incredible views from the campsite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable Rangers, lovely campsites, Bear bins provided for us, and clean bathrooms. Thanks for an unforgettable stay!

The spots are pretty close together. This spot more so than others, but it is still nice. The bathrooms are well kept, the park rangers are so helpful and friendly. And the park is just gorgeous!

The campground was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Even with the campground almost full, it was pretty quiet. A group of bull elk were hanging around the entrance each day we were there. And having a campsite In glacier basin allowed for easy access to bear lake road. Very much a perfect place to to stay for tent campers that like to be in the middle of all the hiking.

Our campsite was fabulous. There is plenty of room between sites, and the restrooms were conveniently located right across the road and were very clean. There was a dish washing station outside of the restroom which was also nice. The only issue that we had was that we had a large tent, 18' x 10', and it didn't quite fit on the designated "box" that is provided for the tent, but we improvised and it turned out fine. Great campground and was also conveniently located in the park and was far away from the road as well :) Will definitely come back again!

We were lucky to drive in and get an open campsite in busy July season! We stopped by the ranger station and they were so helpful (as usual) to accommodate our family of 5. The campsite was a bit of walk from parking spot but the location of site was stunning. Right on the edge of camp, by an open meadow where deer roamed, close to mountains and covered by pine trees and firs. The campsite had fire pit, table, well-marked tent-site enough for 2 tents (6-person and 2-person tents) and ample space away from other people (we actually couldn't see other two campers next to us) . In comparison to other campsites I visited in US, the campsites are not crammed next to each other (I camped once in Montana where I could hear someone snoring two campsites away) and allow for a privacy from other visitors. There are well-marked potable water faucets, restrooms with running water (you have to walk a bit to get there), trash bins for recyclables and regular trash. Even though we came in late, the ranger stopped by our spot to make sure everything was ok and spent some time with our kids explaining the history behind RMNP.
