Rangers at the campground we're great, really enjoyed the evening programs. Who would have thought you could get a 9 year old to sit through astronomy programs on dark skies and nigh photography?! Very special first time in the mountains for my boy. Thanks to the entire RMNP staff!

Loved Glacier Basin Campground, it was clean and well cared for and had flushing toilets and plenty of water. I was happy to find out they had solar showers! They even provided firewood and ice at this one.

Glacier Basin is a beautiful campground with perfect access to the Best of RMNP and incredible views
One comment - and SHOCKING! A couple from Texas came into the park with a closed trailer. In the trailer were FOUR sheep and FIFTEEN (15) chickens! They had set up a pen about 15x15 feet before the confused rangers found them. There is no specific National Park Rule about letting livestock graze on the limited grass in the Park. The couple left after three days leaving a large area without grass. The rangers had to clean up buckets of manure manure - dangerous to wildlife - left by the clueless Texans. It is sad to have make a rule for every possible thing a camper might try - but this one should be added to the regulations. Livestock cannot "camp" in precious NP campgrounds! This couple should be banned from NP for life!!

As expected for campgrounds in a national park. Very quiet, maybe moreso with the reduced number of campers (operating at only 40% capacity due to COVID). Smooth check-in, regular patrols by Rangers and campground hosts, bathrooms very clean and well stocked, no issues. Excellent location - 10 minute walk to park 'n' ride where you can get a bus to all the major hikes. Surprised to find decent cell reception since in the past there has been none at all.
