Wonderful campground! The tall pines section is beautiful! A bit challenging for some RVs but if you’re 25 feet or less you should be good. We loved the peace and quiet, with easy access to walk to the shuttle.

Very quiet and clean campgrounds. Lots of families with kids, but it was very quiet after dark. Bathrooms are actual flush toilets with sinks to wash your hands - no hot water. There's a hiking trail right up on a hill on the east side of the campgrounds. Cell service (Google Fi) was actually pretty good for RMNP territory. Some fantastic hiking trails on this side of RMNP. Glacier Creek runs just outside the campground. The things we didn't like were: 1) The three check points we had to get through to get to our campground; that probably took over 30 mins just to wait in line. 2) There aren't any biking lanes along the roads in the park, so if you have small children who like to ride on longer rides, this can be a little hairy.

Typical NPS campground facilities - picnic table, tent pad, fire ring. Bathrooms were particularly clean and always well-stocked (hand soap, TP) every time I visited. Would occasionally see campground host patrolling the loop in their golf cart - not sure what they are on the lookout for but it sure isn't the petty rule breaking stuff that I wish they'd enforce (e.g. the guy in the next site who played his amplified music for well over an hour before I had to finally ask him to turn it off).
