Great campground!

One of the most secluded spots in the entire site. No views of the Rockys, but a small walk through the woods you can get to it!

Large tent pad, easy parking, some shade, ice and firewood available for purchase. Quiet at night. Close to shuttle bus service. Overall my family and I had a wonderful four nights in the park.

The campground was well-run and maintained and having flush toilets and running water was a big bonus. Very well situated to catch the shuttle buses and several trails run straight from the campground, including to Sprague Lake. Interior campsites in the A and B loop are more likely to have shade than exterior sites for those who care (not sure about the rest of the campground). Sound travels far, so we were able to hear an event at the YMCA just outside the park one night, but otherwise a very peaceful stay. Lots of wildlife right in the campground, which we love.

The Glacier Basin campground was clean and quiet. Our site was very spacious, and we were pleased with the distance we had between our site and the neighboring sites. The bathrooms were clean, the staff members we interacted with were knowledgeable and friendly, and we were able to navigate the shuttle system flawlessly thanks to their help.
