This campsite was very well maintained with ample campsite space and great views. The only reason I gave 4/5 was because it was overcast and rainy for a good amount of our stay - which, of course, is no slight on the campground or facilities. We have stayed in campgrounds that were much not nearly as nice and much more expensive, so this was a delightful experience. Not to mention that the access to the park, and specifically the Bear Lake corridor is unmatched! Will most definitely return for years to come.

We loved both our camp sites! Last minute grabs so we couldnt get two nights on same site. The view is magnificent especially at sunset! Firewood sold in the evenings was conveniently located by the entrance. The bathrooms are clean and we were thankful for flush toilets. Wish they had showers or stall with drain. They need more bear boxes. 1st night we had one by our site the 2nd night there werent any close by so we had to ask another camper. It was uncomfortable going into their seating space to put our things in their box. Especially retrieving the next morning. Cant wait to go back!

The campground was very well organized, the bathrooms were clean, and the view is fantastic!

The most beautiful place I've ever been. No bugs, pure quiet, respectful fellow campers. I have no complaints whatsoever. Perfectly close to the best hikes in the Rockies!

We were in the far corner of the outer circle. That part of the campground is fully exposed with only shrubs and no grown trees. Thus it was very hot during the day until sunset- it would have been nice if there were poles or something that you can at least tie a tarp or something to make some shade… in addition we were counting on buying fire wood in the campground as it said no external wood allowed. However they forget to say that they sell wood on camp on all days except Wednesday- and it was a Wednesday… it would have nice if this was written somewhere. Other than that the campground was beautiful and very clean. We even got a visit from a moose early in the morning!

Glacier Basin had beautiful views of the mountains, was clean, great bathrooms, fresh water, everything we needed.
