Very clean park. Great location with access to park shuttle. Beautiful views of the mountain ranges. Sites decently spaced. Our new favorite park.

Very nice setting. We stayed in a motorhome on one of the pull thru sites. Campground was well maintained. Restrooms were new and spotless. Rangers at the entry station were very nice and helpful with any questions we had. It was a short walk to the bus stop to get to all of the hikes. The landscape is beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Masks are required for the Shuttles. Allow extra time for transfers and full buses you may have to wait for the next one. Great alternative to driving and hoping for a parking place. Check with rangers prior to planning hikes as some trails are closed due to 2020 forest fires. Sprague Lake is a nice shady ~1 mile walk from the campground west end of Loop C or Group camping. Once at Sprague note the trail around is completely wheelchair friendly plus even a backcountry handicap camping spot. The educational guide for the Old Fall River Road is interesting and may have to be purchased at the visitor centers. Folks not used to altitude should acclimate at least 1-2 days before trying even moderate hikes. Everyone should drink lots of water. To see moose, elk, deer just after sunrise is best. On Trailridge road the turnouts are worth stopping to read the info signs and take in the views. Glacier Basin has very nice restrooms with flush toilets and running water as well as a dish washing area.

Really nice campground. Very close to shuttle bus for hiking. Hiking trails were great. Nice views. Clean bathrooms and camping site was well kept. Parking is a bit limited but they do have overflow parking if you can't fit your vehicle on lot with your trailer. Streets are one way so be sure to get a spot that is on the right of the one way. If not your door faces the street.

Ive lived in Colorado for 35 years, but this was the first time Ive ever camped at Glacier Basin... and I enjoyed it a lot! We someone managed to score a site for July 4th the night before (thank you whoever decided to cancel). Check in was easy and the site was clean. Bathrooms had flushable toilets and dishwashing stations, and were very close by. We will definitely return! - I didnt buy any firewood or ice from the lady that sold it since I brought my own, but I did hear the neighbors talking about how special she was... and that also matched a review I had read on Trip Advisor. Bring small bills, because if you dont then she will let you hear about it.

A pleasant place to camp but the trailer sites need to be longer and wider.

Site needs to be a bit longer, otherwise great location.
