Everything about this camping exper Hence was special but allow me to take a moment to praise the smart, kind, and professional NPS workers who met me at the gate, guided me camping experience with grace, managed so many visitors and smiled and represented our countrys national parks with such brilliance. Im so grateful and so thankful for your service. Standing applause

Beautiful campsite with the view of the Mountains. One downside is that there was no shade, but it was still gorgeous at night with the view of the stars

I was at site C113. Nice and close to bathrooms and water, but the fire ring is set in the lowest part of the site, so it was fully flooded for the entire wet weekend I was there and I couldnt use it. Campsites are close together, which I didnt love, but over all its a nice campground. The bathrooms are flush toilets and running water sinks which is a definite bonus.

Beautiful camp site! Very clean, well populated, and fantastic views. Bathrooms were very clean as well. The close proximity to sprauge lake was an added bonus. Easy drive to the site and a seamless check in process. I would absolutely recommend staying at Glacier Basin! Our site was out in the open which provided a great view of the mountains.

We were there at Glacier Basin camp ground for a few days on the first week on July 2021. View from the camp site is simply beautiful. Our tent site was away from trees so our tent got very hot in the afternoons and the nights were cold in upper 40 deg F. Plan accordingly so you won't be surprised.
Rest rooms were clean and they were not crowded, remember there are no showers. It also rained in the evenings we were there, so expect anything weather wise. NPS employees and volunteers were wonderful and they truly try to keep the park and camp ground in best shape with the available resources. I am really thankful such a camp site and RMNP are there for us to experience the outdoors and be one with nature. Such an amazing place, we will be back.
