Loved this site. It had a ton of privacy, and was perfect for two families. The driveway is very narrow, but fits two vehicles in a "T" shape. Side-by-side parking wouldn't allow us to open our doors.

There is very little shade at this campsite but we were not there during peak sun hours. Very much enjoyed the ranger talk in the amphitheater and also that a bear box was on site. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained and had running water, something we werent expecting. Some sites were pretty close together towards the middle of the loop but this one had some privacy. Also had some deer visit us which was fun.

Glacier Basin is the best campground at RMNP. Access to the bear lake corridor and hiking trails

Site was B053. Not much shade, but most private camping spot in the B-Loop. Not far from the toilets or the water faucet. Good option for tent camping

Its a crowded National Park campground. But it has flush toilets and running water and gets you access to the Bear Lake corridor so you can beat most of the crowds to the trailheads without getting up before sunrise.Site B053 has no neighbors on one side nor behind so it was a nice site in this crowded campground.

Absolutely loved this campground! Stayed in the B loop, and was greeted by a huge elk upon arrival. He hung around all day, as we saw him later at the creek. The creek was a nice place to cool off, as it was hot! The rangers were extremely nice and helpful. The scenery is amazing at this campground once you get out to the open grassy area near the front entrance. Bathrooms were clean as well. We had a great stay!

One of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed in. Breathtaking views, top-notch facilities, and friendly and informative rangers. The solar showers are a nice plus.
