Well maintained. Would have liked to have bear-safe storage at my site.

This campground is amazing. Clean and well taken care of. Beautiful views as well. Only drawback is the vendors. Bring your own firewood and ice or go into town and get it. In the past the vendor was great, but 2 years ago she retired and now the vendors are extortion artists. $8 for a bag of ice and over $10 for a small bundle firewood. It's robbery to charge these prices. Do not support these vendors, they are not part of the park services juat some criminal enterprise!!!

We had a site in the trees and it was very enjoyable, I think a site in the full sun would have been less so. The bathrooms were in good condition and we made use of the BYO shower stalls too, that was great after a day of hiking. It's less than a 1/2 mile walk from Loop C to the bus stop for Bear Lake, but get there early anyway. We got in line just before 9 am on a Monday and waited 45 min to get on the bus.

This is the best campground in Rocky Mountain NP! Located on the road to Bear Lake, the most popular area of the Park, it provides the perfect base for exploring the park. There is an hourly shuttle to the Park N Ride or an easy, short walk if you don't want to wait for the shuttle. The restrooms provide flush toilets with cold running water and an electric hand dryer. The outside dishwashing station (cold water) is handy. The sites are pretty close together, which is typical for most national park campgrounds. Firewood and ice is available to purchase in the evenings.Highly recommended.

Great campground! Lots of campsites with a mixture of trees or privacy. The campground has a beautiful view of the mountains, gravel pads for tents, regularly clean bathrooms, and easy access to the shuttles. Having a campsite gives you a day pass for Bear Lake. Parking at sites does require some courtesy and friendliness as many are connected through multiple sites.

Running water in the bathrooms and sink to rinse dishes was a treat after 2 nights at Moraine Campground. Not as much wildlife but nice and peaceful

Glacier Basin is my favorite campground. Until yesterday evening's happening. On our last visit, we met a really friendly saleswoman at the store, so we went to the store to meet her again. Unfortunately, however, we met the most unkind woman in our three years in America and ruined the end of our happy weekend. She, who has a silver Buick, told me to park again, saying it was obstructing the route of the shuttle bus, and my husband parked next to her car, but also told us to park again at another parking lot. So while my husband was turning to park again, the shuttle bus was coming into the campground and she started yelling. We don't know the place as well as her, but we were doing our best to follow her directions. But in those short periods of time, she kept yelling and getting angry. While ordering a few ice creams and ice, she kept getting upset and annoyed that I didn't order things at once, and that I couldn't understand her words at once. The 8-year-old daughter next to me, who was watching all this, was terrified and couldn't say anything. I am sad that this place with great facilities and friendly rangers has become a place of unpleasant memories.Rocky Mountain is a place of world-class beauty. It's a place to be grateful for not only Americans who are fluent in English, but also people who come from other countries like me. If she gives her a little more patience and kindness, I hope that Rocky Mountain National Park could be a beloved place around the world.

Awesome as usual. Be careful though during COVID, they had just stopped selling firewood on Wednesdays.

Great campsite; great view of the mountains. Some of the sites don't have their own bear boxes though.
