Our tent site had a HUGE ant hill (5ft across) and the volunteers and rangers were a huge help! They were able to move us to another site and helped answer so many questions! Bathrooms were clean and stocked! Not all sites had bear boxes so thats definitely something we will look at next time we book.

Great campsite with excellent views and great campsites. Easy place to set up the tent as well as a comfortable space between other campsites. Highly recommend for campers!

I'm not computer friendly at all with that being said I thought my reservation was for 2 night not just 1 so I didn't even put my tent up l I just slept in my truck an moved on at 6 am. Lesson learned. I wish you had an easier way for people not so up to date. I'm learning I did get my entry pass for Arches National Park

We had an excellent view of the mountains from our campsite. This site is close to the restrooms, ice/firewood, and bus stop, too. There was cell service (up to two bars), but it wasn't a consistent signal.

Awesome views right from the campsite. Great location. We parked the car and used the shuttle for the entire time we were in the park.

The site was excellent. Plenty of space; beautiful vistas. Nice and quiet. Facilities were clean (a warm shower would have been nice). Forget internet, but that's a good thing. Firewood and ice were available on site. Just an easy 10 minute walk to the Bear Valley shuttle pickup. Staff was friendly. Really a great experience for us!

The view was so beautiful and the bathrooms are keeping clean. We bought firewood and even ice cream there! My kids loved that! We had peaceful rest in Glacier Basin! :)

The bathrooms are wonderfully clean and taken care of by staff. The rangers are so friendly and ready to listen to concerns or questions that you have. They post the weather on the door of the ranger station and give plenty of trail advice on paper and through conversations. I went with my dog for the second year in a row, and have always had a great time. If you bring your dog, prepare for them to be on a leash or a tie-out on the campsite. If your dog is highly reactive to other people or dogs, this is not the campsite for you! There will be a steady stream of people walking by, and you don't want to be stuck with a dog who is continuously barking. The campsites on the C loop are spaced out well, but you'll certainly hear your camp neighbors during their campfires or other conversations. Don't come here with the expectation to be removed from civilization, come here for the great mountain views and crisp air. There's plenty of room to set up your tent on the tent pad, and you'll have a good campfire pit with a grate and a sturdy picnic table. The outer C-loop is exposed to sun due to all the trees that needed to be removed after the insect infestation/destruction of trees. Aim for an inner-loop spot if you want shade.I love this campsite, and I'll definitely be back.

Glacier Basin Campground provides a great family experience. Great mountain views, clean and spacious bathrooms, a hiking trail at one end of the campground, walking distance to the shuttles, a camp store for firewood and camping essentials and friendly staff help make it a wonderful base camp for Rocky Mountain National Park exploration.
