The campground and facilities were very good. There's a "community share" box by the ranger station(?) in case you forgot something small like a toothbrush or coffee filters. We didn't need anything but it nice people are willing to share rather than blindly throw out extra supplies. However there were a few miscommunications or misunderstandings from staff. We took the Bustang to the park and I know we're not the first people in history to do this. So a few times the staff asked us where our car was and it took a little too much convincing to explain that we did not have one. When we went (June 2024) Moraine campground was closed for reservations. We got a few different answers about whether the park shuttle could stop at/near that other campground. The bus drivers are (naturally) more helpful with this so ask them before committing to the shuttle ride.

I love this campground, but this particular campsite is not very nice. There's just barely room for a large SUV to pull off the road and people with their rigs get pretty close to your vehicle when they're driving through. Site 68C is the same way. I will say it does have a nice view of the mountains - no trees to block the view. I personally would try not to get this campsite again though.

Lovely staff. Clean restrooms. Very close to the shuttle station. I had to leave two nights early due to storms and they refunded me for those two nights.

The view and the location was very nice. Bathrooms were clean. Make sure to take advantage of the park and ride system. Saves from trying to find parking. Very convenient. I wish all parks had this available. Must see dream lake. All the trails and lakes were awesome. Lots of wildlife in and around the camp area.

Million dollar views. Spotless restrooms. Access to priceless trails and friendly people everywhere. Spectacular!

Wish the available campsites were more spread out, but overall itโ€™s a beautiful setting that is in a great location. Close enough to hikes and to Estes Park.

Excellent large campground with plenty of space. The left half is covered by trees and the right half is wide open plains for RVs. Unfortunately you have to share food box with your neighbor and we unfortunately had one who wanted to steal all the firewood from us. the rangers were super nice and helpful and actually gave us a free cord of wood once they found out what had happened. The location is excellent for if you're going to go hike up in the close by region. Beautiful surrounding views that make you feel like you're in a super sized bowl. some neighbors are really cool others are not we got one close to the middle bathrooms which was convenient but people ran through our campground to get to it.
