Like most of the national parks where weve been able to snag a campground. This one was fabulous. You have beautiful views of longs peak, and multiple other lower peaks as well as nearby glaciers. Its on Bear Lake Rd., which is a covered place to have a reservation to drive. Its right across the street from the shuttle if you wanna take that all the way up to Bear Lake to do some nice hiking. Its a little less than a mile away to Sprague Lake and there is a connecting trail as well. The Rangers and camp hosts were friendly and informative. There are many sites that are open where a Starlink would work well and there are several other sites where there are many trees. Theres also a beautiful group camp area if that is your need.

We love camping at Glacier Basin. It's well maintained. The hiker bus is right across the road, and it's easy to access some of the park's best trails. It's a busier campground and the spots are close together, so it's not a wilderness experience. We always have a great time when we're up there.

Plenty of space despite how close to the neighbors you are. Amazing views. Proximity to restrooms was a pro rather than a con. They were always clean, lights not too bright, and honestly never bumped into another person in the restroom our 3 nights there (womens, and the womens side is facing this site). Also surprised that I had good cell service (AT&T).

The lines on the west side of the park were easy but east side were so long that we didnt leave the park all week. Beautiful place! Amazing views and wild life. What a treasure!

Nice views, easy to get to trailheads, and having the shuttle across the intersection is really convenient.
