The campground is located in a beautiful basin with amazing views all around. Our campsite was next to the shuttle stop to the park and ride - not ideal. Also, even though the rec. gov website clearly states an 8 person limit per site, the campsite directly across from us was occupied by no less than 15 people - all of them talking loudly, riding bicycles all around the campground with a number of crying children! Not conducive to a peaceful commune with nature. The camp hosts did not enforce the occupant limit.

We loved this site in the trees! It was close to the bathroom, spacious, and still provided some sight line to the amazing views here. We only had one night at this site and then moved, but we would try to reserve this site again in the future. Steps from the park shuttle too!

Great shaded spot and close to water and very clean bathrooms.

Beautiful campground! The staff was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean and the overall campground was well kept. We hope to be back again.

Great location in the park- bear lake. Easy to ride the connecting shuttle or just drive/walk over to the park and ride.

Every single one of the staff and volunteers were friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the convenient shuttle bus, which allowed us to hike point to point, seeing more trails and not having to worry about finding parking or returning to our starting point or where our car was parked. Love it!
