Excellent campground! I recommend driving up 1. Old Fall River Road (One-way dirt road up mountain) and enjoying the beauty as you travel.2. I really enjoyed Bear Lake and hiking all the way up to Emerald Lake (Even though I am 62 years old)3. Ask the local rangers where they think are the wonderful treasures and adventures of the Rocky Mountain National Park. They know a lot!Note: Cell phone service can be tricky. I had no service (Verizon) at campsite 20 Loop B, but campsites closer to the river may get a signal. (Having said that, I was totally okay not having my phone work in my tent / at my campfire, as that is part of the beauty of tent camping and enjoying nature! Also of interest, there are no showers at this campsite, and perhaps none in the Rocky Mountain National Park (I am not sure about the park as a whole?) Showers were are available in town (Estes Park) at the laundry mat for $6, and perhaps else where in town - ask around. I mention this as the previous 7 days of tent camping I was at Jenny Lake in the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, and they have showers available for $5 coin operated at the campsite, and I was surprised the Rocky Mountain National Park campsite did not have any. Excellent experience and great campsite. I would like to recommend this to any and all campers. Wonderful people.

We loved Aspenglen campground! It was quiet, spacious and located nicely to get to the parts of the park we wanted to see.

Absolute beautiful! Very clean nice restrooms. Close to Estes Park. Had a nice little walk to the river. We were in B 20 and it was a perfect, spacious, beautiful, private spot, we are definitely coming back!

Rocky Mountain is such an awesome place. Aspenglen was convenient, had clean bathrooms, and a nice campsite. Would definitely stay here again! Plus, firewood and ice cream sold on-site.

The camp hosts were extremely kind and helped me jump my Jeep after the battery had died. 10 out of 10 would reccomend staying here. Also very nice that they sell ice and fire wood on site in the evenings. Can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous, sites were spread out, and the staff were exemplary. Wish I were there right now!

The camp hosts were outstanding. The loud music each night from the party lodge across the River was less great, but luckily they turned it off by 10 pm. Cant say enough good things about the camp hosts.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first time camping. The site itself (B20) was fantastic: level tent pad, close enough to the bathrooms without being able to hear everyone's comings and goings, shaded. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever seen. It was very easy to get back into Estes Park from the campground. The only reason I might consider a different campground the next time I go is that Aspenglen isn't on the shuttle route, so I found myself driving to various trailheads or the Park and Ride for hikes. Otherwise, this site was about as perfect as they get!

We scoped out the whole campground during our stay and were pretty sure that B20 is the best spot in the whole campground! Im also pretty sure that recreation.gov knows this and thats why its only available four days in advance. You get lots of privacy between the two camp hosts and lots of spaces to hang hammocks. If youre fortunate enough to snag a reservation enjoy yourself! The one downside was the luxury wedding resort down the valley that played their music until 11:30 at night three days in a row, but if enough people complain then the rangers can go to the city and then the city can be like are you serious?! People come here for the quiet, not to clearly hear your singalong wedding reception at 11 at night. Overall though, lots of shade, plenty of space, very good tent pad at 14x12 and if youve a trailer its a pull along so no backing in! 10/10 would come back to this site again if we could snag it. Bear sighting was free of charge!

Clean, beautiful and spacious campground. Also close to a mini market in case you need to get some essentials. Would certainly recommend it!
