This campsite listed it as having shade but there was none. The tent site had lots of rocks which made it very uncomfortable. Its also located close to road and other residential community making it very noisy until late at night. I would not visit it again. The Bear Lake Road was very nice. I liked that the best. I was disappointed there was not more wildlife throughout the park.

What a spectacular place to visit. Absolutely amazing. Stunning views, wonderful wildlife. Should be on everyones bucket list if your into that whole nature thing and unspoiled wilderness.

The campground was very nice and we appreciate the reservation system and the timed entry. It is difficult to get reservations, but the experience at the NP is so much better. Thank you!

Our campsite was quiet secluded yet close to town. We had wildlife walk through the campsite daily. the campground was easy to find and easy to get into. The bathrooms were clean and the nearby. There were an amazing variety of fir and pine trees. I like the walking trails that were inside our campground. One downside was at least on the two sites we tried to use very difficult to get into and leveled on because they were rather small. We got a warning ticket because one of our wheels was touching a blade of grass... I exaggerate, one wheel was off the pavement, in the gravel. The staff was friendly and helpful and allowed us to move into a different site to try to solve our leveling problem. the Aspenglen campground is the one closest to the National Park entrance and therefore most of the trails, lakes and other attractions were farther away, but it was convenient to and from Estes Park, where we had multiple family functions to attend. We recommend this campground.
