Nice campground. Clean. Helpful rangers.

This was a nice, quiet campground with one exception. While the campers in the campground were generally very respectful and quiet, this campground is unfortunately too close to civilization. It is near the park's boundary, and there was a private facility outside the park that hosted an outdoor karaoke on loud speakers from 9-11 p.m. for 3 of the 4 nights we were there. The noise invaded the entire campgrounds and was an unwelcome intrusion on the peace and quiet we were expecting.

The campground was very scenic, and peaceful, and there was a bear locker at every site.

Such a quiet campground. Its small in size so there was not a lot of traffic driving in and out. I would stay here again and again. Also, our campsite was perfection. Love love love!

Nice, small campground. We stayed at Moraine a couple years ago and liked Aspenglen better. We saw bunch of wildlife this time - moose, elk, grouse. Probably our favorite hike this time was Bierstadt. It's a smaller, less-used trail but has great overlooks

Lovely camping in a quiet campground (okay, so it was kind of rainy and more empty campsites than usual) on the more mellow side of the park.

I usually camp at Moraine Park, but decided to try Aspenglen since Moraine Park is closed for a year. I like that Aspenglen is a small campground. The bathrooms were clean. The employees were helpful and friendly. The site (23) was great. I might not go back to Moraine Park.

It was absolutely lovely! My partner and I stayed for a week total and the bathrooms were very clean and the neighbors were also very friendly. On our last 3 nights there I did notice that someone had graffitied in the bigger bathroom stall in the mens bathroom. I was disappointed but understood that it was not the fault of the campground but of disrespectful campers. Only thing I would mention which I would not particularly mark as a complaint was that the campground host was absent for about the 3 days and in those three days a bear ended up showing up and coming down into the campground. It was a bit frightening since it got so close and it was evening time so most campsites were cooking or a had a fire going. Luckily myself and another 2 campers were prepared with air horns and whistles but we could not notify the absent campground host that the bear was moving to a different section of aspenglen. Overall it was wonderful and I would definitely try to book aspenglen for next time.

Aspenglen was such a beautiful campground! I highly recommend it to anybody yearning for a camping experience that is pleasant in all ways possible. There was so much wildlife around at all times, very nice park rangers, open, clean restrooms, and so much more. I will 100/10 be back for another trip in the future hopefully at this exact campsite!

this is a small campground surrounded by woods unlike Moraine or Glacier. Almost every site backs onto wilderness and you must be very alert to wildlife and bear proofing here. I had what appears to be a mountain lion on my site this year and several years ago while visiting the host told me that they have had bear in camp. Be prepared to take this seriously so as not to endanger your family or others.

We come here each fall after the crowds have left and Labor Day is a few weeks past. The nights are cool but still okay for tent camping. There are always open spots at this time of year, but we always reserve just so we know (with 2 kids, 2 dogs, it's just easier to know you've got a spot). The shaded spots and trees are my favorites, but if you prefer sun, you can find those too. There's tent sites and RV sites in different loops. The bathrooms are all new within the past 5 years, sites are clean, hosts are reasonable, and wildlife aplenty. We always see deer, turkey, squirrels, chipmunks, and occasionally an elk. We live only about 40 minutes away and love the closeness that is Aspenglen. We're hardcore fans of this specific epic campground. RNMP and the National Parks are worth loving and protecting for future generations!

Had a great experience. Location in the heart of Rocky Mountain NP. Very clean. Restroom was also very clean. Fire wood was available and a water source was with a short walk.
