This campground has gorgeous views, was incredibly peaceful, and felt secluded. If youre feeling up for it, a walk-in site is definitely the best. We were right by the river in our own little nook. The provided bear boxes were so convenient, and the bathrooms were just a short walk. Everything was perfect for our stay!

The campground was very pretty and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We loved our site by the river in Loop A, and the staff were really friendly too. Highly recommend.

We stayed at site C in loop A. walk in site and it was absolutely beautiful!! would def stay there again. It backs up to a river and you have some gorgeous views. plenty of trails near by to hike. we were sure if there was a fire pit and food storage since some walk in sites don't offer that but those amenities were there! Bathrooms super clean, water spicket that had potable water. We had an amazing time!

Wonderful little campground. No showers, but the facilities are very clean and the sites are nice. The walk-in sites are the best.

Aspenglen is my favorite RMNP campground --- bar none! If necessary, I stay in Moraine (but only at a view site on the C loop). But generally I prefer Aspenglen for the sound of rushing water and being at a distance from the RVs! (Moraine has an overabundance of RVs and the sound of the generators in the evening is the price of camping there..) Camping in an Aspenglen walk-in site is the highlight of my summers in Colorado!

I take my family to this campsite every year so that we can go hiking in the beautiful Rockies. As always the campsite is awesome with the river right next to it, the large rock that looks like lighting hit it is always there but on the verge of being washed into the river with the spring melt off of snow. We look forward to heading back every August.
