This campground is beautiful. My site (18) was fairly private. Ponderosa Pines all along the back of the site gives you a feeling of being alone in the woods. I went at opening weekend so of course it was in pristine condition. Bathroom was clean. (I can't say what it would be like in the summer when the campground gets busy) Hiking trails very convenient in this loop (D) I saw the hosts one time and that was when they put my reserved sign up. They were friendly and non-intrusive. Sites 16 and 17 are very close together. These would be great for two families that want to spend time together but remain in their own sites. You can't really see 18 from from 16 and 17 but I imagine it could get pretty loud (if you're looking for privacy but don't mind a little noise then 18 is it. T-Mobile service sketchy at best. I do carry a Garmin InReach so I am able to check in with my family periodically.I will definitely come back when the weather is nicer.

We had a great time tent camping for two weeks. The campground is clean and well maintained. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was they were clearing brush around our campsite the whole two weeks we were there. I get they do this for wild fires but it made for a dusty mess at the camp sight and was so loud during the day it was hard to relax. My thoughts were, they should have done this before opening up the campground, as not to disturb everyone, even if it meant opening up a couple weeks later in the season. We will be going back in September and hope all the clearing is done.

Located just a couple miles from Costco and that was very handy. No hookups but fine for us as we had our own generator. The lake was beautiful and the 3 mile walk around it nice but some parts are more challenging than others. Also, the water level was high so maybe just walk on the nicer side of the lake and skip the loop. Site was level and plenty of room for our pickup and trailer. The toilets were clean and the drinking water spicket at the restroom was nice. Cant beat the price and we stayed during the week so it was quiet. Even got to see bald eagles and eaglet flying around.

We were there during the week so had no experience with the camp host or store. Stayed in Loop D. Very nice. Trail to the lake. Definitely would come back.

Really nice hosts and Really clean. Only drawback was not a lot of shade.

18D was a perfect site with some shade with the tall pine trees for us, our Jack Russell & 35ft A class motorhome. It was our first time here & we will be back. Lv Lynx Lake & the walking path around the lake & the cafe close by.

This is a great campsite. The hosts keep the sites clean and tidy. The fire pits are cleaned out and site pads racked between visitors. The bathrooms are clean and spread around the circle. A short walk gets you to Lynx Lake and the walk around the lake is only 3 miles so doable. Just know you may have to cross some water in a couple of places. Prescott is nearby if you want to visit, and wifi is available in some campsites. Bring some shade as some of the sites do not have much depending on the time of day. The best is the host Lynn, who always has a smile on her face as she welcomes you!

This was our first visit to Lynx Campground and we will definitely return! We camped on Loop D and a path down to the lake was just steps away from the campsites. The campground was quiet and peaceful and the camp host was fantastic. He was friendly and helpful as he made his rounds daily through the campground. He was also knowledgeable and advised us that it was tarantula season during our visit...which we appreciated. We saw several tarantulas during our 4 night stay, which we may have missed has the host not made us aware! The sites and grounds are well maintained and the campground is in close proximity to the amenities of Prescott if needed.

Friendly parker ranger and staff. Well maintained campsite with well paved roads. Clean restroom. Well behaved crowd. Campground is surrounded by tall Ponderosa trees, a beautiful, quite place. We would come back to this campsite again.

This was the first time I've stayed at Lynx Lake campground. It was outstanding. I had to ask myself why I haven't stayed here before.

It was easy to book our reservation, When we got to our site our name was on the lot number post! The gravel had just been raked. The site was immaculate! The Restrooms were equally if not more immaculate! The campground host came around, and was very friendly, but not intrusive. The only thing is, they take the "one way / exit only" very seriously! If you drive IN through the exit, your tires will be punctured. A bit excessive in our opinion.

Beautiful campground just opened.I regret to say it cause fire rings are a bit part of camping but, because of the extreme drought conditions all campfires should be prohibited. It's way too dry & 1 careless match will catch all the extremely dry brush into a kinder keg
