Had a great experience camping here it was so safe and bathrooms were kept spotless. I was at H-33 and loved that it was nestled away from a few of the other sites. The camp manager on my loop was very friendly and helpful! 10/10 recommend !

Great Sites, Great Hosts, Friendly Rangers ,Clean sites, and restrooms. Dog friendly, but ensure on 6 foot leash. Cell service for tmobile and verizon is limited, reserve sites in advanced. 14 day stay limit in the Prescott National forest out of 30 days. Loops c,d,e,f provide less then 10 min walk to the lake. Northshore has day use area 1/4 away with cafe, and paddle boat rentals. Southshore has day use 3/4 away with boat launch, dock and marina area to swim, fish, launch boats. Water is off atm, but Walmart, Cosco, am/pm is close for drinking water and firewood. Blue Compass rv in presoctt Valley to fill potable water, and dump grey/black. If early check/in, check with the hosts first, to ensure the site has been checked and cleaned for arrival. Fire restrictions still allow fire to be burned in usfs provided pit or grill. No personal wood or charcoal grills, though propane and electric is acceptable. Please Extinguish fires full when nothing use, or leaving campsite. Let's all help to keep the campground a Treasure. Hiking and the lake is RIGHT there. Was about a 7 min hike to the lake. Saw more wildlife at this campsite then any other. Snake, wild pig, skunk. A couple coyotes were howling in the middle of the night. Lynx lake was great

The campground hosts were outstanding. Best experience ever.

This is probably one of the best kept paid campgrounds that I’ve been to in AZ. The size was manicured up to the tree line, it was level, the fire rings were cleaned out after each camper. And the vault toilets were the cleanest ones I’ve vet seen.

The spaces were also spread out and we felt secluded, despite the grounds being full.

We stayed on Loop H space 33, and it was only about a .25mile walk to the lake.

We had a great time. Only thing to be aware of is that the picnic table and fire pit are about 100 feet away from where you park the trailer and is down a flight of steps. So if you don't want to hike back and forth, up and down the steps, it would be best to find a different spot.

In general an average campground. I like how it is organized into loops, which only allows about 4 campsites per loop, which does offer pretty good spacing between camps. Most campsites are way too far from the lake, which makes kayaking or canoeing impossible from your own campsite. None of the campsites have a view of the lake, which is why you want to camp near water anyway. So if you want to camp it is good, but don't expect any kind of water experience. The vault toilet was too close and by afternoon the odor was pretty bad. The camp hosts were very helpful and nice. There was potable water next to the vault toilets, so that was convenient. The tent sites were on red dirt that was nicely raked. However, I am from Montana and tent sites are on grass or on naturalized forest floor which is a lot less dusty and dirty.
