The hosts were the best. I have camped all over the western Unites States this summer and fall and the hosts were the best so far. They made me feel welcome and safe. Thank you!

The campground was clean and well maintained. The walking and biking trails were well marked and fairly easy to navigate. The hostesss was nice and came by to let us know about recent animal sightings (momma and baby bears and a mountain lion) that we should be aware of. The bathrooms were clean and as good as expected for summer. The water onsite was a lifesaver! It was clean enough to drink and cold right out of the pipe. We ended up only staying 1 night because of the heat. But we're glad we got to see Lynx Lake and will keep it in mind for future trips.

My son and wife were scared to sleep there because someone came up yelling at us at night time. He, had 2 dogs and said we didn't have reservations and was yelling at us. I told him I had the email with the confirmation. He just kept yelling and yelling. So it ruined our experience and we left a s soon as the sun came up. Couldn't sleep all night thinking he would come back.

D loop has easy access to vaults with different elevations so you dont feel too close. The three step staircase points you down the path to the south end of the lake. Easy walk on hillside.

This is a beautiful Campground nestled in the Prescott National Forest pine trees with a very short walk to Lynx Lake. The hosts are very nice, helpful and take amazing care of the Campground. Note that some of the spots are very narrow, so getting a larger RV into some of the spots can be challenging, but worth it!

The only issue I had was that the area to back the trailer into was very narrow. You can not tell that by looking at the map or the pictures on the website. I am new to backing up a trailer so it was impossible for me to get the trailer in the spot. Fortunately for me, a ranger happened by and was able to help me.

Nice, quiet campground only 2 miles outside of Prescott. I love the quad-arrangement of campsites which provide a lot of privacy among all of the campsites. The camp host was very friendly and came around daily to check in with us. The Sharlot Hall Museum was WONDERFUL, as well as visiting The Palace Saloon. Very fun town to visit. This is our 2nd time at Lynx Lake and we will be back.

Site D-17. Although it was a tough backing up and in the to site - wall & pine tree on either side - it was a wonderful site. Nice, large, flat area to picnic. Close to hike trail. Wonderful camp host. Close to bathrooms. Great experience!

Our camping experience was AMAZING! The campsites were clean. The bathrooms were also pretty clean and didn't have that nasty smell you'd expect. No coons at night either. We brought our big fluffy German shepherd with us. He also had a blast!! Everyone there was super inviting and friendly. oh and did I mention The lake was freaking BEAUTIFUL! !! We went fishing, but didn't have much luck. However, our neighbors that were about 20 feet away from me were bringing in some nice trout and bass. So there are DEFINITELY fish in there! Lol I'd also recommend bringing some good binoculars. An older gentleman on the hiking trail had some and he saw a bald eagle from across the lake. I can't wait till next time! Lynx Lake is DEFINITELY one of the best campgrounds i have ever been to!!

Beautiful lake with a great walking path around it. There's even a bald eagle nesting there. The camp sites are large and only 5 or 6 on each spur, so you are not on top of the other campsite.
