I really enjoy camping at Groom Creek. The camp hosts, Joe and Nancy, are so helpful. They go above and beyond to take care of the campers and our needs. The trails leaving camp are endless. They are beautiful with tall trees, plenty of shade on hot summer days, and lots of wildlife. The campsites are huge. I easily fit my 33 foot LQ trailer in the pull-through drive and have plenty of room to spare. I highly recommend this place.

Love this campground ! nice shade and some decent sized pull throughs for LQ trailers. Most of the high lines need to be brought up as they are getting pretty low. Great trails just out side the camp...easy ride to goldwater lakes and the 383 and 384 connect to some fun trails that can be looped back to camp.

It sure would be nice if Groom Creek had more water locations, the horse stalls need to be refilled with dirt and sand, after it rains the stalls fill with water and do not drain properly. This is not good for the horses feet. The wildlife was amazing many deer, coyotes. I love camping at Groom Creek I think it needs a little more TLC .

Way too many rules.

Always great to get away to the pines for some great horseback riding and relaxation. Water is conveniently located and restrooms are clean. The camp host, Joe and his wife Betty do their best to keep things clean and are always helpful.
