Excellent restrooms, good firepits, and close access to many trails.

We LOVE May Queen. It is peaceful, quiet and the lake and river are stunning.

We had campsite 1, Which offered some privacy, but the tent pad was awful, on a slope. Had to move a good distance from our table to have a flat space for the tent. I also noticed other campsites were way too close together and also had bad tent pads, sloping and too small. The restroom was NOT clean. The reason I gave a fair rating was because we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Few other people came due to rain I suppose.

We enjoyed our campsite. The fishing is great. Unfortunately the days we were there it was very rainy (6/24-6/25). The area is beautiful and the bathrooms are kept very clean. We loved that there is a trash can available on site. There is no cell phone service at these sites (T-mobile). The only inconvenience we experienced was that we had to move from our campsite. We had only reserved for 1night, Thursday. Because we were told, by a Ranger(we called to verify), that the camp sites were first come first serve on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We paid to spend Friday night, since we were already at the site we figured we were first. Later in the day the campsite ranger asked us to move because someone else had reserved our spot. When we asked how if the spots are first come first serve? (Since we had called and verified with a ranger.) The campsite ranger explained to us that some areas are first come first serve and others are by reservation only. He also mentioned that due to new staffing this has happened frequently. Even though it was an inconvenience to have to move, the ranger was very helpful in finding us another site close by.
Horrible. I only gave one star because zero stars was not an option. Description of the camp site was not accurate in anyway what-so-ever. We could not pull our RV close to the site. The site was tiny with barely any room for a small tent. Left after one night. The worst camping experience ever. Horrible!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
