The porta-potties at the campsite were not clean at all. The campsites themselves did not have a picnic table, which was unexpected. It was very difficult to find from the river - one entrance had no signs and was blocked by fallen trees. The other entrance had no trees but also no signs. We needed the help of a passing park ranger to identify our sites. After we made camp, we helped another camper find their site.

Good sites and reservable. Makes it nice to be able to leisurely canoe down to your site knowing you have one waiting. Wish all were this way instead of the Zone set up they are trying to implement.

Booked R1 Campsite for Friday the 21st of May. Had a late put-in because of the coordinates provided, which turned out to be wrong and the real campsite is 3.5 miles downriver (roughly another hour+ of paddling). If we had put in any later, we’d have been paddling in the dark. We saw no obvious brown sign to indicate the campsites, and there were no bathrooms or porta-potties as expected (because it was in the description).

Campsite itself was great; very spacious with a nice grated fire ring. Lots of wildlife around.

Leaving 2 stars because of the incorrect coordinates (which I copy and pasted from this website) and because of the lack of bathrooms, which was stated.

Great locations and easy to find along the River. I wish they were a little more spread out. It did feel as though we were right on top of other campers. Amenities were fabulous
