This is a very large and hilly park. Not all campground loops have the same terrain.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Pretty places to walk, clean restrooms, beautiful views, reasonable food prices / pleasant service at food concession as well as a lovely beach area. The only major disappointment was that we hoped to rent a canoe/kayak/small motor boat at the marina; however, this was not an option as the marina is run by a private concessionaire who does not allow public use of the area. It was disappointing to have a marina located at the waterfront of a PUBLIC recreation area and have it be PRIVATE. There were no readily available boat rental options outside of the recreation area either. So the moral of the story is - bring your own watercraft if you want to go out and enjoy the water.

Such an awesome experience. We were only there for 2 nights so we didnt get to utilize all there was to offer. But 0 complaints here and we will definitely be back!
