Beautiful park! We were lucky enough to get a spot on the water in the Seno loop.Note: The office staff was not helpful upon arriving. We asked if there were 50amp sites open and the gentleman at the office said "I don't know."We then had to ask for a map of the campground - it was not offered. Also note the office was closed Tuesday and Wednesday. We needed to move sites and had to drive around the park looking for a ranger to assist.The sites near the water have an upward slope at the "entrance" of the site so make sure the site is longer than your rig. Also, beware of the dropoff with this slope/slant - we went slowly but almost lost our sewer hose holder and our aqua hot piping scraped ....I feel $40 a day for electric only is steep - but it was a water site. Water is available at the dump station so be sure to fill up before going to your site.Starlink worked well. we had to put it way down by the water to get a signal through the trees.

Campsite is mostly great. Many sites have been somewhat negleted and in need of repairs.

Raystown Seven Points is our favorite spot to camp. We were there 2 weeks before Memorial Day. The camp was clean, the rangers were visible. The restrooms could have been cleaner. Floors are in need of repair. The portable water tasted funny, very stale taste. We rented a pontoon at Seven Points mid week. The boat was new and the staff were very helpful. Great day out on the lake.

We found this campground's sites to be uniquely situated. We liked that the sites had a bit of privacy. Being along the water, we were able to launch our kayaks easily. Be cautious of the winds if you are an inexperienced/ newer paddler, as we got caught in very rough water. We were fine, but we were caught off- guard, as it was only breezy when we launched, and the winds increased rapidly. I highly recommend Trough Creek State Park. It's beautiful and has some unique features. Huntingdon is a quaint town if you are looking for a place to eat. It's only about 15 minutes away. We hope to return sometime.
