The Army Corps of Engineers did an excellent job with the facilities. Well designed, clean and kept. Lots to do here with a fantastic beach.

An amazing spot!Loved the access to the water and the teared campsites, makes it feel a bit more private

Nice lakefront spot. Flat shaded area for tent. There is a stairway down that the public can use but in October I never saw anyone use it. Less windy than a few sites down at the point of the island.

This was a last minute trip because I just happened to see a waterfront site was available, which is pretty hard to get during the summer months. We always enjoy our time there walking the loops, path and swimming. Sites are always well maintained and staff is friendly and willing to assist if needed.

We love Raystown. Site 201 was really beautiful. It was on a relatively flat part of the campground so my young kids could ride their bikes out front of our campsite. The view was gorgeous. We were able to walk down to the lake and swim and fish every day. It was around a 10 yd. walk. The site is by a public path to the lake so people will periodically walk by who are taking care or getting on their watercraft. We didn't mind this as we got to know some people. The two biggest negatives were the distance to the bathroom and the fact that there was poison ivy everywhere. I didnt let the kids walk off the site at all. Honestly, it was all over the place throughout the whole campground. That created some stress for me trying to make sure the kids didnt get it. Overall, wed definitely pick this site again.

Fantastic view of the lake. Great "neighbors" to share fishing stories. Had an awesome time!
