Mid to late Fall is a good time to visit Seven Points, as there are far less campers, and, subsequently, less noise from humans. I have stayed on the "SENO" loop 2 times, and was fortunate enough this time to get a lakeside site where I could simply slide my canoe in the lake and go (another advantage to late season camping). I was, however, disappointed with campsite maintenance--the fire ring was sopping wet with 6" ash sludge in it, tent site was wet dirt with a couple shovel fulls of larger stone that had to be cleared by hand, and there was trash around the site (bad campers!!); & stairs/trail to the bathhouse could have used some tending/leveling of material, as it was cupped.

We’ve stayed at the lakeside lots many many times and have absolutely loved the view!! However this lot had 2 undesirable accidents in it upon arrival someone had a bout of vomiting and a large amount of dog poop they left behind??

LOVE LOVE LOVE RAYSTOWN LAKE! Campground was super clean, bathrooms super clean! Hot water with good water pressure in the shower! Friendly and helpful staff. Campsite was PERFECT... pulled our boat right up! Can't wait to come back, but gonna rent an RV and have someone set it up next time! Thanks for a great vacation!
