Water spigots are not available at the campsites. No one at the Visitor Center knew where a spigot was located.I found it (potable) on my way out at the dump station.

My favorite place to camp. Wish they would do something about the people who reserve sites every weekend then don't show

Seven Points is an exceptional place to camp, especially if you're lucky enjoy to get a site near the water! Sites are well maintained, good sized and all have electricity. Visitor Center is terrific and walking trails are top notch.

Raystown lake was beautiful in early May. It was chilly at night and in the morning, which is fine as you’re by your campfire at those times. During the day it warmed up nicely and we hiked, mountain biked and kayaked. Less crowded than in season.

I have stated this before, but it needs repeating. I hate seeing 1/3 of the sites not being used. I packed up my gear, left the site, only to come back the next day, to see that nobody had came in. The site was reserved, but they never showed up. I would have loved to stay another day, because the weather was so bad for the days I was there. It would be so nice, if there was a system of calling in if you are not checking in the day you have reserved, so that the site could be offered to the campers that are all ready there. This happens all the time.

We love Raystown and appreciated them holding our site and allowing us the option to rebook for remaining dates of our original booking after the COVID closure! Our family had rented 3 sites 6 months earlier before the pandemic. Felt camping was safe in our own RV and able to social distance while seeing family that we hadnt visited in months. Our group consisted of 8 people, at a time visiting on 1 of the 3 sites. The problem was with the beach being closed my site became a public beach. People were entering our site in groups of 7+, walking down our stairs, sitting their wet butts on top of our picnic table a benches, touching and leaning on our shepherds hook, and sitting on the rail road ties that surrounded our site. They entered from both sides of our site. Trying to remain within my own family group became impossible! There was up to 25 people grouped together on the weekend. People left behind garbage that I felt I would be blamed for, so I gloved up and picked up after them. People fished in groups of 7+ and didnt respect quite time! I felt invaded an unsafe!
