The reservation process is tedious to say the least. We literally had to sit at our computer and try to find a site at seven points. Once we got to seven points, we realized we were up a large hill. There really should be a warning for first-time people of how this campground is laid out.

I was a little worried with this place being so big I wouldn't have privacy but the sites are very well laid out for the most part and you can't even see the neighbors fire. Very pleased with my stay. I enjoyed th le disc golf course and visitor center also.

Seven Points - Raystown Lake in Hesston, PA: Beautiful location, very busy campground, easy check-in, responsive and helpful rangers, clean restrooms with hot water showers, fun visitors center with gift shop, large clean beach, wonderful snack bar, and enjoyable wildlife. Great place for a very enjoyable camping experience!Location:Seven Points is located close to the larger town of Huntingdon (about 15 minutes from a Super Walmart, Giant grocery store, Sheetz gas/convenience store, numerous vehicle parts stores, a quaint movie theater with inexpensive matinees, and several good restaurants). Some Area Attractions to check out:Take time to enjoy the lovely views from various lookouts around the lake (Raystown Dam, Ridenour Overlook and Hawns Overlook).Check out the well-stocked Raystown Lake Bait & Grocery store, located a short distance from the main gate, for camp supplies, bait, souvenirs, snacks and icecream. Take some drives over the beautiful mountains and through the many picturesque valleys in the area. Check out the State College and Altoona areas for what they have to offer. Visit the Penn State Arboretum in the cool of the early morning or early evening for delightful gardens. Visit nearby parks and day use areas such as Tatman Run Beach, Canoe Creek State Park and Trough Creek State Park.Explore Penns Cave and Lincoln Caverns in the area. Each are unique with interesting and educational tours. Most important, have fun and relax!!!

Quiet, clean, beautiful. Electric only. Visitors using your spot, before it is your turn, don't have to vacate until 1700. Then you have to rely on them to drop their pass in a box on the way out to inform everyone the spot is now vacant, some do not. Would like to see "check out time" earlier in the day, say 1200-1300. Besides the check out time, Seven Points is one of our top five camping areas.
