According to the new Rangers, the rules are changing but they cannot provide written documentation. I was told I could not use the water faucet in the camp loop to fill my camper. I had to unhook and close up my camper, tow it to the dump station to refill with water. I was told it has always been that way. I have camped there for 15 years and never had anyone tell me that. I am also getting tired of seeing the same people on the same campsites on the water. With as many people trying to reserve sites now, there is no way these people (there are about 6, all retired), who are 2 weeks there and 2 weeks off and then back again. They are always on a water site and one person I have seen this year has been on the same site in Senoia at least 4 separate occasions. NO ONE is that lucky in the lottery. You would almost think these people must know someone on the inside holding sites for them. And there is one family who actually had a water site for 2 weeks, moved their equipment down the road about 6 sites and set up for another 2 weeks. These are the same people who were thrown out last year for the same offense. Their excuse is it is under their son's name but the people on the site do not change. THAT IS A VIOLATION OF YOUR POLICIES. It is getting to the point where I am considering not returning if I have to fight to get a mediocre site. I haven't been able to reserve a water site in prime months (June. July and August) for a few years. It might sound like I am a sore loser. I am not. If I lose in the lottery fair and square so be it. What I have an issue with is talking to my friends who also camp there and hearing them all have the same issue I am, and then seeing these 6 or 7 people there all the time on waterfront sites really aggravates me. It is supposed to be a fair system and somewhere it is losing that fairness. You also have to make your system so it cannot be conquered by Bots. That is the only thing I can figure these people are doing

Dumpsters full, garbage piled up outside the dumpster.Army Corps had 2 survey boats blocking both launch ramp while they were getting organized. Isn't the cardinal rule of boat launches, prepare at the staging area, and use the launch ramp area for launch and recovery only. Seemed like the Army Corps person at the ramp had never used a boat launch before. Raystown might learn something from some of the Corps lakes in the south. Much better run.
