We love Raystown - but it is evident that the budget has been cut, from campsites to trails. Upkeep of grounds has diminished/lessened in the 15+ years we've been coming. The lake doesn't need much help - it is still amazing & clearly attendance & popularity is growing... but we are hopeful the same cleanliness/care comes back!

Check-in was easy. Our site was large, level, and clean. The rangers patrolled the area regularly.

Great time at Raystown. We were hoping to see the trees change but they were only starting to change when we left. Its a chance you take when you schedule in advance. The sites we were in were excellent. You can see the lake everywhere. Always a good time when we go there.

We were there watching the changing of the leaves which were beautiful. Very peaceful sitting by the lake watching nature all around us. We don't boat but did enjoy watching the boats go by. The hiking trails are great. This is one of our favorite campgrounds.
