Tionesta is the place to make memories! All full hook up and pet-friendly sites, plenty of privacy on many of them. Shady and sunny, woods- and creek-backing. Three playgrounds in walking distance, paved roads for biking, tubing and wading in the creek, boating and swimming on the lake, and kayaking the Allegheny river; fishing, bike rides to town for ice cream and lighthouse island! Not enough? Cook Forest is a 30-min drive and Kinzua Dam within one hour. Verizon wireless service is weak to non-existent and AT&T is limited. Starlink worked like a charm that a difference in the last trip (for better or for worse :LOL:)! In love with Tionesta at the first sight and keep coming back for over 20 years!

Site 45 is not located next to the canal as the picture suggests. It is across the road from the canal. The site is not level, if you are in a vehicle such as a camper van, I do not recommend it. It is best for a small pull behind camper such as a teardrop or pop-up. The site is full hook up which I found to be very convenient. The bath houses need a refresh and they are not cleaned daily as the signs on the doors suggest. Otherwise, this is a beautiful place to camp, very quiet and the camp hosts are very friendly. You will need a signal booster if you want to use your cell phone. Verizon did not work at all. One bar sometimes two with AT&T.

I have gotten the same site beside Tionesta creek several times and it is always very nice. The only drawback is the cell phone coverage for Verizon.

Love the full hook up! The camp host , Andy, was wonderful. He helped an elderly camper with disassembling her small tent with the utmost patience

Full hookups in a fairly remote location. WTG Army Corps of Engineers! Beautiful area to kayak, hike, etc. We will be searching for more ACOE campgrounds for future trips.

This was a wonderful experience. The check-in process was very relaxed as compared to other Corps of Engineers campgrounds we've been to. We got a surprise upon checking in. I asked where the dump station was and I was told all the hookup sites had electric, water and sewer. The website only said this had water and electric. It was very easy to locate and back into the site. Everyone around us were very friendly. There was no formal checkout process like we've experienced elsewhere. AT&T was two bars. The sites across from us had Verizon and no service. There is one gas station in the area and that is in Tionesta. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great first experience.

I did 1 star because this campground has been going downhill for years. We really like to come here but the last few times we have stayed it has been just sad. Grass needs mowed, grass needs trimmed , bathrooms need attention! The Rangers ride around in trucks all.day doing nothing. The hosts get side by sides and you can't mow the campground. So here's a proposal utilize the help you got. Ge t the Rangers off their behinds and make them do things. I know cuts were made but utilize people. And the hosts I'm pretty sure they could do more for free rent. Plus you bought them side by sides. Buy a couple mowers and trimmers and make what you have work. This is a nice place if you make it nice.

Tionesta is our favorite campground. The employees are very friendly when you check-in & while they are passing out the flyers for weekend activities. Each site has full hookups and most are nicely shaded. It's a beautiful campground, and each site is cleaned before/after our stay. Very peaceful with the sounds of the river, birds, and crickets. Husband likes the fishing while the grandkids love the play area with its castle & boat. We love to see what's new at the Market Village & have ice cream at Bananas, which are close to the campground. There's also a gas station/souvenir shop & Dollar General nearby for your convenience.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
