camp site was tent only. Tent pad was clearly outlined and level, BBQ grill on site was clean and ready for use. Had a nearby potable water spigot, and trash cans. Nice and quiet, trailheads within walking distance. Had beautiful sunsets every evening and a star lit night. Overall, a pleasurably stay. Will visit again.

I stayed at Twin Peaks Campground at the end of November from Thursday - Sunday. Going into the trip, I knew that there were bathrooms closed for the season. I picked a tent spot that was close(r) to an open bathroom. The bathroom had two toilet stalls and was open until Saturday evening when the park staff unexpectedly closed it. The only other bathroom that was open next to the tent spots was a one stall bathroom that also contained the shower. The park was pretty busy and there was often a wait to use the restroom once the two stall bathroom was closed. It was disappointing to other campers who also did not know they would be closing the two stall bathroom in the middle of a Saturday. The park itself had amazing sunrise and sunset views. The landscape was gorgeous and the park is beautiful. There are plenty of drinkable water faucets close to all of the camping sites. The tent sites are spacious and allowed for us to set up a cabin tent and a 10x10' canopy tent over the picnic table. The parking spaces are large and allowed for us to have extra space to move around at our site.I recommend taking a portable shower and toilet, if you have one. The weather was in the 40s at night and the walk to the bathroom was dark, cold, and windy. I wish we had brought a portable toilet to use during the night instead of walking to the bathroom, especially once they closed the closer bathroom to our site.

One of my favorite campgrounds. Clean, well-kept sites. Only negative was the solar showers. Even after a full day of sun, and not too busy, they were ice cold. Brrrrrr!

Great campground. Do take the warnings about pack rats seriously. They can get into ANYTHING! lol. If you're tent camping, try to get a site with a ramada; it really helps even during the winter. The sun is brutal.

Great place to access lots of trails and places. We did 5 hikes in 3 days. Unfortunately, the ranger at the visitor center was discouraging people from going on the Puerto Blanco Loop because it was "boring." He tried to steer us and the people behind us to the Ajo Mountain Loop, which we had already done the day before and hike to Bull Pasture. I asked about Quitobaquito Spring and he said it was dry. "Nothing to see." I guess he doesn't get out of the office much, because it had water and we had a wonderful trip on the road, hiking to Red Tanks Tinajas, Dripping Springs, Senita Basin and Victoria Mine. Closing the odd and even bathrooms every other day is kind of pointless. COVID concerns exist and all the bathrooms should just be open and cleaned each day. I can see why showers might be closed, but not half the bathrooms. The tent sites are fine and we enjoyed it--no generators or RVs.
