Everything was fine so far. Hot water on showers needs to be optimized and the washingroom lights should be dimmed to the outside. Disturbes actually the great view to the stars

Maybe the maintenance crew could wait until after 7:50 am to run the leaf blower at the walkway to the Amphitheatre. Love the restricted hours for generators. Glad to see the vegetation growing up to give the campsites more shade and privacy. We attended six evening programs; we were really disappointed there was not a program devoted to the original indigenous inhabitants of the area. Perhaps someone from the tribes could come in and do a program. There were casual references to the indigenous peoples, but nothing in depth. The person who did a show on Quitobaquito didnt even know the indigenous name for the area.

Very nice campground in a great location. It has lots of scenic beauty all around, with some great hikes and drives. The ranger program was quite good. The facilities are very well maintained and clean. While it is a bit out of the way it is a must stay for most RV'ers.

Lovely camp ground. Friendly, yet private.

We had a two night camping reservation. Was surprised to find out when attempting to purchase a pass that a national monument doesn't take cash. If anyone should be accepting cash for payment, it's the federal government. The area is clearly posted with signs warning about illegals and smuggling activity. Not 10 miles from 85 along the Ajo Mountain loop we observed a blue flag flying, denoting a water station. This doesn't seem like the kind of thing the park service should be allowing.Upon returning from our days activities late afternoon, I discovered that the men's restroom had been closed, no explanation. No one opened another men's room in it's place. The next day when the painters arrived, it turned out the reason for the closure was that they were storing their paint materials. If you're going to be in the area for another reason, it's worth stopping to hike the Desert View Tr. I wouldn't recommend this as a destination.
