Well organized immaculately maintained campground. There are areas for generator use, no generators, and tents. There's a sani-dump. No hookups, but there's potable water. No hot water for showers.

Beautiful campground with lots of desert plants surrounding and separating each camp site. Trail around the campground is also very nice and feels like a walk through the desert, and allows dogs. Bathrooms are nice and clean, but very limited in capacity (2 stalls only, 1 in those with shower) and dont seem adequate for such a large campground. Trash and water readily available throughout the grounds.

We love coming to this park and campground. Its beautiful!! All the spaces are spacious and have lots of room with natural desert landscaping between every spot. Water is good and plentiful. Love the solar showers!! Not hot but so what!! And amazingly for all the people here, it just feels quite and serene. People are from all over, friendly and helpful and curious. The volunteers and staff are also friendly, patient and helpful with all sorts of things. We also love that theres a non-generator zone for us solar folks to have a little distance from the generator noise and thank goodness those hours are limited!!!! So we can ALL continue to enjoy the sounds of nature that are abundant all around us. From camp there are several hikes, Ive done all of them several times over the years and always really enjoyed ever one!!! Also, There isnt a bad campsite in Twin Peaks, in the whole lot. If you land here right on a time when the Rangers give evening talks I encourage you to go. Very informative about the park history or star gazing or the animals and plants youll find here. It always adds a lot to the visit. Youll be happy you came!! Love this park!

Beautiful views - better than many 4 star hotels. Roomy spaces, clean restrooms.

Very good campground. Would be better if there was warm water for the showers. If the reason is because of Covid, I don't expect that there would be persons within 6 feet of someone showering.
