This was a wonderful campground. I was concerned being so close to the border, but once I was there I felt very safe and comfortable. Great sites and wonderful landscape! Really enjoyed walking the trail around the campground.

We have a 35’ motorhome and a toad. Easily accommodated. Peaceful, quiet. Several easy hiking from park including a wonderful one way drive through Organ Pipe Cactus on a well cared for dirt road. This place is beautiful.

If you can survive without using a generator, rent a spot in that section. I needed to use mine on the last day,so I am glad to be in the gen area, but some folks run them everyday. Nevertheless, the campground is beautiful, well-planned, and level.Highly recommend the hikes, Ranger talks, and evenings at the Amphitheatre. I saw an Osprey, a tarantula, hummingbird, and coyote scat on my hikes. This was end of January, so no snakes. And lots of great cacti!

I had site 75, which was quite comfortable. Definitely enjoyed the Ranger talks. Too cold that week for me to go to the evenings at the Amphitheatre but I would like to!

Twin Peaks has many spaces making it relatively easy to book a site close to your visit date. There are many that suit larger Class C and many Class A motorhomes. That said, the sites are close together and if you don't like generators, don't book in the generator section. The facilities are nice and clean and the hosts do a good job of keeping everything neat. You can hike from your campsite on a number of beautiful hikes. Winter is a wonderful time to visit.
